Making Japanese ramen at home is not that difficult, especially the summer cold ramen version. We’ll make delicious Hiyashi Chuka, brothless colorful cold ramen with tare sauce. In this 1.5-hour online interactive class, we’ll make the following:
– Make ramen noodles from scratch
– Make delicious chashu chicken from scratch (traditionally using ham)
– Prepare topping components
– Make poached eggs
– Make tare sauce
While each component is cooking, we will prepare different toppings. You are welcome to use chicken or tofu for vegetarian or vegan. Skip poached egg for vegan. Ramen noodles are naturally vegan. No prep work is required before class.
Class schedule: Saturday, August 26 from 4-6pm Eastern Time Zone. Please check the time on the Eventbrite as the Eventbrite time shows your actual local time zone. This class will be online via Zoom. The class will not be recorded. The price is per screen.
You will receive the ingredient list 14 days before the class starts. We will send out the complete recipe packet along with the Zoom link 6 days before the class starts. No refunds will be given after the complete recipe packet is sent out.
