Sushi for Beginners

We’ll have fun creating this art of rolling in this online interactive class together at home. You will learn every step from preparing ingredients and cooking each sushi component including sushi rice and Japanese egg roll (tamago). While we roll out 5 styles of sushi, we’ll talk about the history and culture behind this long Japanese tradition. You’ll also learn how to properly cut and serve each style of maki sushi. The packet will also include step-by-step rolling directions, guides to buy sushi-grade fish, and suggestions for fillings, proteins, and substitute ingredients. Instructor: Ploy Khunisorn
