Schedule: Wednesday, May 5 from 7-8:30pm ET
Location: Online Event

Rice is similar to other crops that rely on its land. The terroir of rice determines the quality and taste of rice and can produce different flavor profiles even though they can be the same species. Join Ploy and her friend who will tune in from Bangkok and learn about rice. We’ll start with different species of rice and how terroirs affect the rice you consume. Then, we’ll take you to a Thai farm and see the ecosystem of this area where it has a lotus pond, orchid farm, and rice field. We’ll finish our talk with Thai rice snacks.
