Also, traditionally this dish doesn’t contain any other vegetables. If somehow you saw this dish with a lot of bell peppers or scallions or some sorts of greens, it’s not authentic. Ingredients of Ginger Chicken Steamed Rice:

0.5 Lb. of White Chicken or Dark Chicken (Cube 1×1 inch)

1 Tablespoon of Sliced Ginger

1 Tablespoon of Chopped Garlic

1 Tablespoon of Granulated Sugar

2 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce (or Fish Sauce)

½ Tablespoon of Oyster Sauce

1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil

Cooking Directions for Ginger Chicken Steamed Rice:

1. Heat up a skillet to medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once olive oil is heated, add garlic and keep stirring. Reduce the heat to medium. When you smell garlic, add ginger and keep stirring.

2. Add chicken and soy sauce as well as oyster sauce. Keep stirring. Increase the heat to medium-high and stir. Then, add granulated sugar and keep stirring. When the chicken is almost cooked, reduce the heat to medium. Keep stirring until the chicken is cooked.
