Japanese Street Food and Sake Culture

When it comes to street food, Tokyo is one of the top bucket lists. But, it’s not always easy to just fly to Japan and eat all the delicious food. We are bringing the taste of the Japanese street food to your home. In this online interactive class, we’ll make Japanese dumplings (gyoza), stir fried chicken teriyaki small plate, crispy chicken karaage with creamy lemon sauce, Japanese pancake or so-called Japanese pizza (Okonomiyaki), and strawberry mochi. We’ll make everything from scratch including dumplings wrappers. While we cook, we’ll talk about sake culture, types of sake, and process of making sake. Vegetarian options are available.

You are welcome to pick one or a few or all dishes to cook along or just watch and learn. The list of ingredients will be sent prior to the class along with the Zoom link.

Schedule: Tuesday, March 2 from 6-9pm.
